July 5, 2018—Welcome to Aarde, a brand-new country.
You, like almost everybody else who first heard of this new country, initially pause, questioning if this is for real. Next, you somehow feel deeply touched by this prospective, and your eyes start to twinkle. It strikes a chord. You feel like hit by something. Even better than coming home. Finally, your imagination runs away with all the thrilling opportunities and potential it brings.
Since that moment, the thought does not leave your mind, keeps on recurring, growing into the burning desire to become a citizen of Aarde.
Aarde’s first inhabitants arrived on June 21st, 2010, after three intensive years of exploring suitable locations, negotiating with various governments, lobbying with global institutes, and dealing with global enterprises. Aarde is being architected and designed from the ground up, and still is in full development, unfolding every hour, every minute, every second, buzzing with life.
Aarde transcends and includes all the good things inherited from the world’s history and replaces the things that do not work with the new insights that have emerged over the past decades.
You have expressed a serious interest to also become an inhabitant of Aarde, and we take that at heart. We expect you, as a candidate new inhabitant of Aarde, to be able to work and live with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole mind. We take that extremely serious, and are committed to find the way that fits both you and the existing community in Aarde. We in fact guarantee your fit. As you know, you have been invited to immerse yourself into Aarde, to find out where you stand, to find out where you want to go, and to find out where you can be guided, and coached to live life to its fullest.
We have taken great effort to develop a program—individually suited to your needs—that will educate you becoming a fully developed Aarde citizen. You are about to embark on a profound journey called The Membrane, explained later. But first, allow us to tell you a bit more about Aarde’s characteristics and Zeitgeist.
