From Aarde
Along with the World Art Festivals, every four years, for ten consecutive days, everyone in Aarde participates in daily contests during the Aarde Life Games. Four years of preparation and training culminate into a thriving and buzzing ten days to find out who bakes the best bread, who can jump highest, who can build the most alive buildings, who is the best teacher.
All aspects of society, culture, art, technology, and wisdom come to a high during this harmonious, yet intense competition. Cooperation and competition are seamlessly blend, with all parts free to compete in unique, independent ways, yet able to yield self-interest and cooperate when necessary for the good of the whole. As soon as the winners are known, good ideas are shared and adopted throughout the country, and bad ideas simply fade away. Needles to say, the Aarde Life Games are broadcasted world wide and attract billions of viewers.
